AAOMS COVID-19 Webcast on April 22: Where we are and how we will move forward

All AAOMS fellows, members and resident members are invited to join the Association's inaugural COVID-19 Webcast at 7 p.m. (CDT) Wednesday, April 22, to hear a panel of speakers provide an overview of COVID-19 resources, the impact on private practices, potential changes to office policies as well as an update from OMSNIC.

This 90-minute webcast is the first of several online "town hall-style" presentations in the works to share important, timely information related to the OMS specialty. There is no cost to participate; registration will be open until the start of the webcast or until the maximum capacity has been reached at attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/6075725739520555020.

The webcast schedule includes:

  • Welcome and Introduction – Dr. Victor Nannini
  • AAOMS Activities and COVID-19 Resources – Dr. Victor Nannini
  • The University of Washington Experience: Impact on Private Practice – Dr. Tom Dodson
  • Practice Management Considerations – Drs. J. David Johnson Jr. and David Fenton
  • Update from OMSNIC – Dr. James Swift
  • Closing Remarks and Personal Note from Pandemic Central – Dr. Victor Nannini

While AAOMS President Dr. Nannini will host this first webcast, future events will feature AAOMS Board and Committee members, sister organizations and regulatory agency representatives – all in support of the oral and maxillofacial surgery community.
